The mini series The Devils Whore, well worth a look at.

Good evening Skafloc and welcome to the forum. I hope enjoy your first games and if you have any questions about the rules please post them on the forum (or send an e-mail). I really like some of the 'sets' in Solomon Kane such as the old church, the village devastated by a witch and the castle. I recently had a go at scratch building a Solomon Kane style 'prisoners wagon' to use in games of Witchfinder and I would like to make more 'Solomon Kane' inspired buildings and terrain in the future - including all the mud.

Just watched Solomon Kane and Last Valley, some inspiration there. Have yet to play a game but I am warming to it.

Hello Itchy - thank you for joining the forum. 'The Last Valley' is set in the Thirty Years War and is worth watching - despite Michael Caine's bad German accent and strange helmet.

You have seen some good films. I watched Blood on Satans Claw a few weeks ago for the first time and really enjoyed it too.

Although completely out of period I recommend 'Dog Soldiers' for some werewolf related inspiration.

I did like The Season of the Witch, the Nicholas Cage film. I must say I do like this kind of research for war gaming
