After the idea of scarecrow riders I decided I needed a Mounted Commander for them...

And here a moment of sillyness led to this idea...

Tv watchers of the 70s should get the reference...

They look very nice. Unfortunately, I was living in Africa in the 70's and didn't see the programme you refer to, so someone will have to enlighten me.

I looked at some of the other photos in your stream and I have to say, that empty paint rack looks very sad indeed! Needs filling!

Don't worry, the paint rack pic was to show how easy one was to make. It is full now.

I like the Mounted Commander (very Razorback). To add 'something completely different' to this thread (and a bit more sillyness) folk with an interest in the 60s and 70s may also enjoy listening to this recent radio show:
http://www.mixcloud.com/pablo-mesqualito/and-now-a-word-from-our-sponsors/

Witchfinder General's proof reader, Pablo Mequalito, decided to brave the winter weather in order to share his rather unusual record collection with listeners in Cumbria. The show has nothing to do with wargaming or witches, but I think some forum members may enjoy it .
