Hello fellow gamers. Thought I may just mention this weekends game. It was the biggest one I've hosted so far, with 4 players over a great fun afternoon and early evening (about 5 hours and a few cups of coffee and many tasty unhealthy treats). Used a large force of pike, muskets, sticklers etc. against a much smaller force of plagued, noctelingers, barguest, witch, blinders and a vampire. The village they has to search had trapped buildings, hidden supplies, lurking plague victims and also a nearby ring of mushrooms which acted as a portal sending those who crossed to random board locations. Final result was a victory for the forces of good, with some great moments including witchfinders finding a grenado supply and using it to blast a chapel full of noctelingers, a teleporting witch who magically moved about 3" and a rather unrespectful treatment of a vampires resting place. I'll try and put a list of enchanted fairie ring effect up here if there is any interest.

I will be adding a few piccys and suitable interesting comments to my blog in the next day or so. Hope you get a chance to take a look. I acted as a kind of games master during this game as I wanted to put a few suprises on the table for the players. The ring was a small circle of stumps which when entered by any of the Witchfinder forces would send them to a random part of the table, I just split the table into sections and rolled for it. The forces of evil can enter the ring and had a choice to randomly move or not, in our game the witch used this and moved about 4"......such is magic
